High-Level Seminar on Peacebuilding, National Reconciliation and Democratisation in Asia
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera, who is on an official visit to Japan from 17-20 June 2015, met with the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communication Madam Sanae Takaichi at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication in Tokyo (Thursday 18 June 2015).
Actg. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Ajith P. Perera felicitated two young Sri Lankan achievers – Mr. Thejitha Saubhagya Edirisinghe and Ms. Kavindya Thennakoon – at a meeting today (19 June 2015) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They are among the sixty winners of the Queen’s Young Leaders (QYL) programme 2015 from Commonwealth countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated the sacred Poson Poya with a ‘Poson Bakthi Gee Programme’ organized by the Sri Lanka Foreign Service Association (SLFSA) on Wednesday 10th June 2015 at its Main Conference Hall, with the participation of all staff. The ‘Poson Bakthi Gee’ Choir comprised members of the SLFSA.
