Sri Lanka Ambassador meets with Employment Agencies in Oman

Sri Lanka Ambassador to Sultanate of Oman O. L. Ameer Ajwad met with Omani Employment Agencies on 12 September 2019 as a part of Embassy’s outreach programme with a view to enhance cooperation in the recruitment of Sri Lankan migrant workers in Oman.

The Omani Employment Agencies welcomed this initiative and assured their cooperation to work with the Sri Lanka Embassy in Muscat closely to facilitate smooth labour recruitment process and to provide better services to Sri Lanka migrant workers. It was also decided to hold such meetings on regular basis to address issues related to labour recruitment.

Staff of labour section of the Embassy also participated at the meeting.
