The Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Vienna, Austria, offered an almsgiving (Heel Danaya) to the Maha Sangha in parallel with the annual Katina ceremony of the Dhammazentrum-Nyanaponika in Austria on 8 October 2023.
Founder and Chief Incumbent of the Dhammazentrum-Nyanaponika Ven. Dr. Wijayarajapura Seelawansa Thero, together with ten venerable members of the maha sangha from Germany, Italy and Sri Lanka who were in attendance, performed the religious observances.
The Maha Sangha invoked blessings on Sri Lanka, its people and the staff of the Embassy.
