The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the Government and people of Sri Lanka, highlighting compassion, solidarity, and shared Buddhist values that underpin the long-standing friendship between the two countries.
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Viet Nam, Poshitha Perera, conveyed sincere appreciation for the timely assistance, noting its importance as Sri Lanka continues infrastructure restoration and relief efforts. Both sides emphasized that this gesture further strengthens bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing people-to-people and Buddhist exchanges between Viet Nam and Sri Lanka.
