Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera, met the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the UK, Boris Johnson, yesterday, 10th January 2017, at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London.
Discussions focused on developments in the bilateral relationship, including the way forward to advance trade and investment between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Samaraweera briefed his counterpart on developments in Sri Lanka and progress in the areas of institution building, strengthening democracy, advancing reconciliation and achieving inclusive development.
