Consul General of Sri Lanka in Toronto Thushara Rodrigo joined the Sri Lankan Canadian Business Community as the Guest of Honour at a social event held in Toronto recently at the invitation of CanLanka Business Association of Canada.
Extending best wishes to the participants, the Consul General commended the valued support of the Sri Lankan Canadian business community in Toronto to further strengthen the economic engagements between Sri Lanka and Canada. Addressing the gathering he stated that there are massive economic opportunities for the expatriate Sri Lankans living across the world, especially in the context of reshaping regional and global economic landscape. He encouraged the leading businessmen and investors to carefully observe emerging potential in Sri Lanka for investment and stand with other competitive investors eying Sri Lanka as a strategic and promising business location in South Asia.
