External Affairs Deputy Minister Neomal Perera yesterday said the Sri Lankan Ambassador in Saudi Arabia will be recalled before January 30.
He made this observation in response to a question by UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake.
Karunanayake asked if as claimed by reports whether the Sri Lankan Ambassador in Saudi Arabia has been recalled following the execution of Rizana Nafeek.
The Deputy Minister said Ambassadors and High Commissioners of Sri Lanka render a commendable service in their accredited countries.
