Celebrating the 78th National Independence Day of Sri Lanka, the Embassy promoted high-end luxury batiks at the Diplomatic Reception held on 5 February, 2026 at St. Regis Beijing.
The high - end luxury batik fashion designs by Buddhi Batiks, a leading brand of the authentic craft industry specialising in the luxury fashion industry of Sri Lanka featured by a famous Chinese Model Linda Guo at the event.
The fashion was illustrated Sri Lankan high-end batik and also highlighted in a form of menu card among the dignitaries which captured uniqueness of Sri Lankan artistic value in the batik accessories sector. The large gathering of the Diplomatic Corps, Chinese Government Officials and corporate sector leaders admired the glamour of Sri Lankan batiks design by Buddhi Batiks at the event and showed keen interest.
