The Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Southern India, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, facilitated a courtesy call between Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services of Tamil Nadu, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, and the Deputy Minister for Plantation and Community Infrastructure of Sri Lanka, Sundaralingam Pradeep in Chennai on 19 December 2025.
During the meeting, discussions focused on further strengthening cooperation between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, particularly in the areas of information technology and digital infrastructure. The dignitaries also exchanged views on Sri Lanka’s economic developments and explored potential avenues for collaboration to support infrastructure and technology initiatives.
