Sri Lanka Ambassador to Cambodia Chaminda Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake granted farewell audience by King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP) C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne and her Spouse Stephen Senanayake were granted an audience by King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia to bid farewell to them. The farewell took place at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh on 22 July 2024.

During the farewell audience,  King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni expressed  his gratitude to Ambassador Chaminda Colonne for her excellent work in strengthening relations with Cambodia and its’ people, and conveyed heartiest wishes for her future endeavours.

Ambassador Chaminda Colonne and her spouse Stephen Senanayake conveyed their sincere appreciation to King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni for the warm hospitality and excellent cooperation they received, reflecting Cambodia’s long-standing excellent relations with Sri Lanka based on Theravada Buddhism. They also extended warm best wishes for King Norodom Sihamoni's  good health, happiness and longevity.

Ambassador Chaminda Colonne also paid farewell calls on Prime Minister Hun Manet, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sok Chenda Sophea at the Peace Palace and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, respectively.
