Basil Rajapaksa Minister of Economic Development held bilateral talks with the Minister of Commerce of China, Gao Hucheng on 29th June 2014. Minister Rajapaksa is also scheduled to meet with Vice Premier of China, Wang Yang and inaugurate the 3 day Mega Sri Lanka Promotion Event to be held from 4th – 6th July 2014 in Shanghai, during his official visit to China from 29th June to 06th July 2014.
