Foreign Secretary Aruni Wijewardane was invited as the Guest Speaker to deliver the keynote address at the annual “Diners’ Club” at the Defence Services, Command and Staff College, Sapugaskanda on 31 March 2023. The Commandant of the Staff College Major General Lasantha Rodrigo and the faculty staff welcomed the Foreign Secretary. 147 mid-career level officers of the Sri Lanka tri-forces and police, and 25 foreign military officers along with their spouses attended the keynote address followed by a discussion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a long tradition of close cooperation with the Defence Services, Command and Staff College.
