The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kuwait participated in “The Diplomatic Day: From the Heart of Kuwait, We Discover the Stories of Nations”, a one-day cultural event co-hosted by the Ministry of Information in Kuwait and UN-HABITAT at Youm Al-Bahar Historical Village, held on 20 February 2025. The event was a platform for many foreign Embassies based in Kuwait to showcase the richness and diversity of their countries’ heritage, arts and traditions.
The inauguration of the event was graced by the participation of political leaders of Kuwait, representatives of Diplomatic Missions and UN agencies, entrepreneurs and prominent members of Kuwaiti society.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kuwait showcased the cultural heritage of the country by displaying an array of Sri Lankan food products and garments, traditional crafts, banners of SriLankan Airlines and handmade creations reflecting the ancient archeological development of Sri Lanka. A captivating Sri Lankan cultural performance was also held at the event, garnering the appreciation of the visitors.
