Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta honors a Locally Recruited Employee with a visit to Sri Lanka

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta honored a locally recruited employee Mr. Supriyadi by arranging a visit for him to Sri Lanka in appreciation of his dedicated service of more than 31 years.

The Association of Sri Lankans Living in Indonesia (ASLI) also generously sponsored the visit including the air ticket for the spouse of Mr. Supriyadi to accompany him.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia and ASEAN Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage met them at the Embassy prior to their departure to Sri Lanka and ceremonially handed over the air tickets in the presence of the Embassy Staff and the members of the ASLI. He stated that Supriyadi has earned this recognition through his dedicated and unblemished service to the Sri Lanka Embassy in Jakarta since 1992.  Mr. Supriyadi is serving at the Embassy as a locally recruited Messenger.

His 06-day stay in Sri Lanka from 24 March 2024 to 29 March 2024 is scheduled to cover some of the famous tourist destinations in the Island and a courtesy visit to the Indonesian Embassy in Colombo.
