Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, met with representatives of BATIM Sp. z o.o., one of Poland’s leading international transport and logistics companies, on 07 November 2025, at the Embassy premises to discuss opportunities available for qualified heavy vehicle drivers from Sri Lanka, who could support the company’s expanding logistics operations in Europe.
During the discussion, Ambassador Dharmasena underscored the professionalism and reliability of Sri Lankan drivers, who are recognized internationally for their discipline as well as work ethic and assured that the employment prospects presented by the company will be conveyed to relevant authorities in Sri Lanka, for further collaboration.
