Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Southern India, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, met with the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, during the Global Telangana Rising Summit 2025 held in Hyderabad from 8 to 9 December 2025.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister enquired about the current flood relief efforts in Sri Lanka, following which the discussion focused on potential areas of collaboration and mutual growth between the two neighbouring countries.
The Deputy High Commissioner also extended a personal invitation to the Deputy Chief Minister to visit Sri Lanka.
