The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Philippines joined the Wisdom Park Foundation, Quezon Institute of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, and Capitol Medical Center in holding a blood donation campaign and a free health camp at Wisdom Park on 28 June 2025.
Fe Del Mundo Medical Center and Capitol Medical Center conducted the medical aspects of the blood donation campaign and the free chest X-ray checkups using AI, while the Philippine Tuberculosis Society screened participants for tuberculosis.
The Embassy actively participated in organising the event and disseminated information among the Sri Lankan community in the Philippines and other stakeholders. Many came forward to donate blood. The Embassy also provided transport for Sri Lankan community members who donated blood as needed. Several community members took the opportunity to undergo tuberculosis screening and chest checkups. Embassy staff also actively participated in the event.
