The First ever Bahrain National Day Celebration in Sri Lanka organized by the Sri Lanka Club Alumni in association with the Sri Lanka Club Bahrain was held at the Jet Wing Colombo Seven Hotel on 16 December 2023.
Actg. Additional Secretary (Multilateral Affairs & Middle East) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka U.L.M. Jauhar graced the event as the Chief Guest. Delivering his remarks, Additional Secretary Jauhar emphasized the significance of the event in strengthening the relations between the two countries.
More than 50 current members of Sri Lanka Club Bahrain and members of the Sri Lanka Club Alumni joined the celebrations organized under the leadership of Honorary President of Sri Lanka Club Bahrain Wasantha Kahaduwa.
