The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Grenada established formal diplomatic relations on 19th December 2012. H.E. Dr. Palith Kohona, the Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of Sri Lanka, while H.E. Ms. Dessima M. Williams, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Grenada to the United Nations, signed on behalf of Grenada.
