Sri Lanka envoy to the Republic of South Africa, accredited to the Republic of Zimbabwe, Kumar Mallimaratchi presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangawa as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Zimbabwe at a Ceremony held on 30 October 2019 in Harare.
The President Mnangawa warmly welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his assignment. Ambassador Mallimaratchi extended the warmest greetings from His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka to the President of Zimbabwe.
Ambassador Mallimaratchi met Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Dr. Sibusiso B. Moyo, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Chief of the Protocol during his visit. He also met Sri Lankans living in the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Ambassador Mallimaratchi was accompanied by Udeni Mallimaratchi on his visit to Zimbabwe.
