The Chief Operating Officer – Airlines Division of Bengal Airlift Limited, Shumaiz Iqbal, and the General Manager (Branch Manager) of Ace Bangladesh Ltd., Mohammad Moniruzzaman, visited the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Dhaka on 23 December 2025 and handed over a contribution of Bangladeshi Taka 500,000 (approximately LKR 1.26 million) donated by Ace Bangladesh Ltd. in support of the National Disaster Relief efforts in Sri Lanka.
The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Bangladesh, Dharmapala Weerakkody, expressed deep appreciation for the generous financial contribution made in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka by the Chairman of Ace Bangladesh Ltd., Mehnaz Mannan, and the Managing Director of Ace Bangladesh Ltd., Arif Rahman.
The High Commissioner also acknowledged the continued goodwill and support extended by the corporate sector in Bangladesh towards Sri Lanka’s humanitarian and disaster relief initiatives.
