
Responding to the initiative launched by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh, Sri Lanka Quantity Surveyors – Saudi Arabia (SLQS-KSA) donated SAR 35,000 and essential relief items worth SAR 10,000, as a first phase contribution, to support the Ditwah disaster relief efforts in Sri Lanka.
Representatives of SLQS-KSA, including members of the QS Cricket Club (Golden Gladiators), met with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ameer Ajwad, at the Embassy premises in Riyadh on 20 December 2025, and officially handed over the financial contribution along with a consignment of dry rations.
Expressing his sincere appreciation, Ambassador Ajwad commended SLQS-KSA, including members of the QS Cricket Club (Golden Gladiators), for their exemplary collective effort, reflecting a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity with the victims of this natural calamity. The Ambassador conveyed his gratitude to each and every member for rising to the occasion at this critical hour in support of national relief and recovery efforts. The contribution by SLQS-KSA underscores the continued commitment of Sri Lankan professionals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to humanitarian causes and nation-building initiatives.
