The Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Southern India, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, facilitated a courtesy call between former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and General Secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), Edappadi K. Palaniswami, and the Deputy Minister for Plantation and Community Infrastructure of Sri Lanka, Sundaralingam Pradeep, in Chennai on 19 December 2025.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the current situation in Sri Lanka. The Deputy Minister also extended an invitation to Palaniswami to visit Sri Lanka at a time convenient to him.
