M+ Software of Indonesia had a preliminary meeting with Sri Lankan ICT industry associations

In collaboration with the Export Development Board, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta organized a virtual meeting on 03 April 2023 to connect M+ Software of Indonesia to Sri Lankan ICT industry associations. The purpose of the meeting is to explore potential collaboration in the ICT industry.

At the virtual meeting, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage emphasized the importance of collaborating with both countries in the ICT sector and the personal experience of ICT innovations by Indonesians. Assistant Director-Export Services Vajira Kularathna from Export Development Board presented an overview of the Sri Lankan ICT sector.

Followed by introductory speeches representing M+ Software of Indonesia, SLASSCOM, and FITIS, participants discussed potential areas of collaboration. Chairman of SLASSCOM Ashique Ali highlighted the importance of collaborating both countries in the gaming and mobile app industry. Chief Operating Officer of FITIS  Fairooz Habeeb informed that the Sri Lankan ICT industry is interested in entering the Indonesian market. During the discussion, from the Sales and Business Development division of M+ Software of Indonesia Anggun and Hera agreed to submit a proposal indicating the areas to collaborate.

Participation in the meeting included Director-Export Services Indumini Kodikara, Export Promotion Officer Dinesh Attanayake from the Export Development Board, and Second Secretary (Commercial) Heshani Premathilaka from the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta.
