Embassy of Sri Lanka successfully participated at the 53rd Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar held at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor of Siam Paragon Mall in Bangkok, from 22-23 February 2020.

The Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar is one of the most popular charitable fund raising activities supported by the Diplomatic Participants’ Committee (DPC) and Embassies in Bangkok, showcasing for sale an extensive variety of outstanding products. Participants from 59 countries displayed items ranging from clothes, bags, shoes, skincare products, processed food, beverages, dairy products and many other consumer products at the Bazaar, where the proceeds from sales of the products benefit many royal charity projects which help children, women, the disabled and the elderly in rural areas as well as the underprivileged, under the projects of Thai Red Cross Society.

It was an opportunity for many visitors who love Ceylon Tea and Ceylon Cinnamon to buy quality products at Sri Lanka booth at a reasonable price.  The guests were also invited to taste different varieties of Ceylon Tea including green tea, flavoured tea and Regional Teas at the stall.

The event was graced by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and this year’s event consisted of lucky draws, international food stalls, a national costume display, and contemporary art performances from various countries.
