Sri Lanka High Commission in Islamabad participates in the PFOWA Bazaar

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Islamabad participated in the annual Pakistan Foreign Office Women Association Bazaar (PFOWA Bazaar), held on 25 November 2018 at the Pakistan Foreign Ministry.  More than 40 Foreign Missions based in Islamabad took part in this grand event.

The purpose of this fair was to raise funds to support PFOWA’s activities to help the under-privileged.

The Sri Lanka stall at the Bazaar was declared open by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Shah Mohmood Qureshi. Many visited the stall, including the spouses of the President and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan as well as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

At the Sri Lanka stall, traditional Sri Lankan food Ceylon tea and paintings were for sale and the proceeds were donated to the organizers to help the under-privileged.
