Mr Vadivel Krishnamoorthy has been appointed by HE the President as Sri Lanka’s, new Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. He has served as the Deputy High Commissioner to Chennai from 2009 to 2012 and at present is working as the Director General of the South Asia Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. He was born on 10th February 1960 and has studied at the Highland Collage, Hatton. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the University of Peradeniya and his Masters Degree from the Monash University in Australia. He has also obtained a Diploma in Management from the National Institute of Education in Maharagama. He has a service of 33 years.
