The Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka in Chennai hosted a networking reception to celebrate the 77th Independence day of Sri Lanka on 28 February 2025 at Hotel Taj Coromandel.
The event brought together around 250 distinguished guests including diplomatic corps, government officials, business community, well-wishers and staff of the Deputy High Commission in Chennai. A raffle draw was drawn at the occasion and two winners were awarded free tickets to visit Sri Lanka by Sri Lankan Airlines. All the attendees were gifted with hampers containing tourism promotion materials and Sri Lankan biscuits. At the end of the event, guests were treated to an array of Sri Lankan cuisine and delicacies.
