Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa was conferred a honorary Doctorate by the Beijing Foreign Language University today, stated the Director General of the President’s Media.
President Rajapaksa is currently on a four-day official visit to China on an invitation extended by his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao during the bilateral meeting held in St. Petersburg, Russia this June.
