The Representative-designate to the State of Palestine, M.F. Mohamed Fawzer, assumed duties on Tuesday, 06 May 2026 at the Representative Office of Sri Lanka in Ramallah.
Upon assuming duties, he addressed the office staff and emphasized the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Palestine, including in the political, economic and cultural spheres as well as enhancing services to the Sri Lankan Community in Palestine.
He expressed his sincere appreciation to the staff for their dedicated service and commitment during the recent challenging and uncertain period in Palestine.
