Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 16th October 2015 and discussed further means of promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister also met with several key Ministers, including Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, Mr. K. Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Law, Mr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. S. Iswaran, Minister for Trade and Industry and Mr. Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Finance.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Hon.Malik Samarawickrema, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, Mr. Saman Ekanayake, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mr. Arjuna Mahendran, Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Nimal Weeraratne, High Commissioner-Designate of Sri Lanka to Singapore and Mr. Wishwanath Aponsu, Acting High Commissioner.
