They pointed out that the provincial council member and Elilan’s wife should first file cases demanding justice for the children who were abducted by the LTTE during the war.
Residents of the Mullaitivu area protested against a case filed by a former LTTE leader Elilan’s wife and Provincial Council Member Anandi Sasidaran regarding the disappearance of a group of LTTE cadres including Elilan. They pointed out that the provincial council member and Elilan’s wife should first file cases demanding justice for the children who were abducted by the LTTE during the war.
They compelled the provincial council member Sasidharan to find their children who had been abducted by Elilian.
However the case was postponed for January 22, 2015 in the absence of the provincial council member.
