Talking to IRNA, he rejected alleged reports on export of oil beyond the sanctions limit by Iran and oil exports to Greece, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Qamsari noted that countries which can buy oil from Iran and their share have been determined. China with 40 percent and India with 25 percent are major destinations of Iranˈs exported oil, he added.

The official asserted that Iran would continue export of oil to China, India, South Korea, Japan and Turkey according to the present agreements.

Iran exports 400,000 barrels of oil per day to China out of its one million barrel, he underscored.

There were alleged reports by some western media that Iranˈs oil exports have stayed above levels allowed under western sanctions.

Under the Geneva Interim Agreement reached between Iran and G5+1, Iranˈs oil exports should be held at an average 1 million bpd for the six months to July 20.
