The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in the United Kingdom Manisha Gunasekera called on the Secretary of State for International Trade Dr Liam Fox, MP, on Tuesday 19 March 2019 at the latter’s office in Parliament in London.
The productive meeting entailed discussion on the promotion of trade and investment interests between the two countries, as well as possible arrangements with regard to Sri Lanka’s exports to the UK market post-Brexit. Minister Commercial of the Sri Lanka High Commission Gothami Silva and officials of the UK Department for International Trade were associated with the meeting.
