The Foreign Ministers of Sri Lanka and Japan, Mangala Samaraweera and Fumio Kishida, signed the Exchange of Notes for the National Transmission and Distribution Network Development and Efficiency Improvement Project to the value of USD 200 million under the 45th Yen Loan Package, and Non-Project Grant Aid for the provision of Japanese local products/equipment to develop the railway network and agricultural facilities to the value of JPY 500 million at Iikura House, Tokyo, on 19 June 2015.
