A three-member delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Public Administration & Management and Law & Order Nalin Bandara visited Russia to participate in the 22nd International Homeland Security Exhibition “Interpolitex 2018”, held from 23 – 26 October 2018 in Moscow.
On 23 October 2018, Deputy Minister Nalin Bandara and the delegation participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation V. Kolokoltsev.
The Exhibition is organized by the Russian Federation's Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian Federal Security Service, Federal Service of National Guard of the Russian Federation with the Exhibition Companies Group “BIZON” acting in the capacity of the organizer of the event.
During the exhibition, Deputy Minister Bandara met with the Head of the Department of International Police Cooperation of Russia and discussed matters pertaining to international cooperation in public and state security spheres.
At the exhibition, the exhibitors demonstrated to the Deputy Minister, the most modern and advanced technologies and equipment used by law enforcement authorities in Russia.
