Consul General of Sri Lanka in Toronto Thushara Rodrigo met with the President of Seneca Polytechnic David Agnew to discuss the potential for educational collaborations between Seneca Polytechnic and Sri Lankan educational institutions.
Seneca Polytechnic is one of the leading educational institutions in Canada providing employment-oriented study programmes to the students across the globe. During the meeting, Consul General Rodrigo stressed the importance of empowering the Sri Lankan workforce with modern education enabling the young generation of Sri Lanka to benefit from emerging opportunities. In response, the Seneca President expressed his interest to explore the potential for educational collaboration with Sri Lanka.
