Speaker of Saudi Shura Council receives Ambassador Ameer Ajwad
The Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sheikh received Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajwad at the Shura Council complex in Riyadh recently.
The Shura Council Speaker extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Ameer Ajwad to the Kingdom and recalled his productive visit to Sri Lanka in 2019 leading a Shurah Council delegation at an invitation extended by the then Speaker of Parliament of Sri Lanka. Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh emphasized the need for fostering bilateral cooperation in the potential areas of mutual interest between the two countries and extended an invitation for a parliamentary delegation from Sri Lanka to visit Saudi Arabia when the new parliament is formed.Read More
