Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera and Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa along with senior government officials met UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid at the Palais Wilson in Geneva on Sunday, 13 September 2014.
On the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will undertake an Official visit to India from 14th to 16th September 2015.
During the visit, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka will hold talks with his Indian counterpart and call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. Indian Cabinet Ministers and political leaders are among those who are expected to call on the Prime Minister.
The newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to The Kingdom of the Netherlands Mr. A.M.J. Sadiq presented his credentials to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander at the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague on 9th September 2015, following an impressive ceremony at the Palace grounds.
