The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP) C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne bade farewell to Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok on 06 August 2024.
Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana expressed her deep appreciation to Ambassador Chaminda Colonne for her valuable contributions to Sri Lanka’s accelerated cooperation with the UNESCAP in the recent past for and her active role as Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the commission.
Ambassador Colonne expressed her deep gratitude to Executive Secretary Alisjahbana, and her staff at the UNESCAP for the cooperation and support extended during the former’s tour of duty in Bangkok.
