Ambassador Jayatilleka received his El Salvadorian counterpart

On July 22, 2019 H. E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, received Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador H. E. Efren Arnoldo Bernal Chevez, who had previously served as the Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of El Salvador to Panama. He was also a former guerrilla commander in the ranks of the FMLN.

During the meeting the two Heads of Mission had an extensive conversation on the new situation in El Salvador, as well as Central America and Latin America, and exchanged opinions on the role of the region in the framework of international affairs.
