The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, held a discussion with, Head of the Warsaw Branch of ZNP Logos Tours, Monika Sznajder, on 07 January 2026. ZNP Logos Tours is a leading outbound travel agency in Poland, operating worldwide tours including trips to Sri Lanka. The discussion focused on understanding any challenges the agency may have faced in the aftermath of “Cyclone Ditwah,” which devastated Sri Lanka in November 2025.
During the discussion, Ambassador Dharmasena highlighted the immediate measures taken by the Government of Sri Lanka to address tourist concerns during and after the cyclone, including the establishment of a hotline, airlifting stranded tourists, and waiving visa fees. The Ambassador also noted the importance of Polish tourists to Sri Lanka, with Poland ranking among the top 12 tourist markets and contributing significantly to Sri Lanka’s foreign exchange earnings.
Monika Sznajder shared that ZNP Logos Tours has been operating for 45 years and sending tours to Sri Lanka for 25 years. She explained that their packaged trips are premium, catering to connoisseurs, with four to five groups visiting Sri Lanka annually during Christmas, New Year, and until May. The tours feature culturally rich and diverse experiences. She confirmed that the agency had not encountered any problems or challenges with tours to Sri Lanka before, during, or after the cyclone.
