The 29th Edition of the Beautyworld Middle East 2025 was held from 27-29 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai. In strengthening public- private partnership, the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai in collaboration with the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka organized the participation of Sri Lanka delegation comprised with representatives from Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd., Kozha By Dr Cherry (Pvt) Ltd., The Swadeshi Chemicals (Pvt) Ltd., British Cosmetics (Pvt) Ltd., Pintanna Oud Oil (Pvt) Ltd., and Virco International Pvt Ltd.
This year the Beautyworld Middle East attracted over 2500 exhibitors from more than160 countries and thousands of visitors from many countries providing a platform for brands, distributors, retailers, manufacturers, and salon/spa professionals to meet, network, and make business deals being a global and regional business hub. The event offers the companies access to one of the faster-growing beauty markets, especially in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region which is projected to reach around USD 60 billion by 2025.
The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai organized a meeting with the CEO of Falak Tayyeb Platinum Government Services LLC, Ghanim Al Falasi, for the Sri Lanka delegation to discuss expanding opportunities for Sri Lankan companies in the region. Consul General of Sri Lanka to Dubai and Northern Emirates, Alexi Guasekara discussed with CEO of Falak Tayyeb Platinum Government Services LLC, to have a zoom meeting for Sri Lankan exporters in the Beauty Sector at the earliest to have an awareness session on the market entry requirements.
Participation in this event provided an opportunity for the Sri Lanka delegation in finding new partners/distributors (networking), and testing products in a multi-national context, gaining exposure to new trends, technology, and potential business growth.
The event showcased cutting-edge beauty products, beauty tech, new formulations in skincare/haircare/fragrance and had live demonstrations, masterclasses, and dedicated zones for startups and SMEs such as the “Beauty Beginnings” zone in 2025 to support emerging brands. It also focused on sub-segments like fragrance, wellness, and the convergence of beauty technology, positioning itself not just as a trade event but as a stage where the future of beauty is explored contributing to the beauty & wellness ecosystem; not just brands and salons, but suppliers, packaging, logistics and regulatory services.
