The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, Fred Seneviratne, paid a courtesy call on the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, Atadjan Movlamov at the Embassy of Turkmenistan on 30 June 2025.
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps warmly welcomed the High Commissioner and extended his congratulations on the assumption of his new role as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan. He also briefed the High Commissioner on the activities of the diplomatic community and the annual events organized by the Office of the Dean. In addition, the Dean outlined the coordination role between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and the diplomatic corps.
High Commissioner Seneviratne expressed his sincere appreciation to the Dean for the warm welcome and the opportunity to meet. He shared insights on Sri Lanka’s recent development progress and outlined key areas of future cooperation and action.
The High Commissioner was accompanied by Minister of the High Commission, Christy Ruban during the meeting.
