The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Lao Peoples’ Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP) C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne bade farewell to Politburo Member, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, and the Vice President of the Lao PDR Bounthong Chitmany recently.
Vice President Bounthong Chitmany highly appreciated and thanked Ambassador Chaminda Colonne for consolidating ties between the two nations during her tenure as Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Lao PDR. Ambassador Chaminda Colonne expressed her gratitude to the Government of Lao PDR for the cooperation and support extended to her in strengthening bilateral relations.
They also re-affirmed their commitment to enhancing and strengthening the bilateral ties.
Ambassador Chaminda I. Colonne also bade farewell to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR Saleumxay Kommasith.
