Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Harsh de Silva, met Pakistani High Commissioner Maj.Gen ( R ) Syed Shakeel Hussain and First Secretary Mr Hassan Zaigham today (17/12) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both sides discussed on areas of mutual cooperation with focus on trade and investment.
“If golden beaches, blue seas and rising waves, serene mountains, majestic elephants, silent leopards, huge whales and playful dolphins, a rich history, delicious tea, exotic cuisine, a wide range of festivities and warm smiles could sum up a country, that would be Sri Lanka” were introductory remarks made at the first ever tourism promotion event organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Viet Nam for outbound tour operators of Viet Nam.
The First Round of Senior Officials’ Talks between Sri Lanka and Australia was held on 16 December 2015 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo.
