Sri Lanka Ambassador to Oman Meets with the Head of Directorate General of Passports and Residency

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, O.L. Ameer Ajwad met with Brigadier Ahmed Sultan Al Nabhani, Director General of Passports and Residency of Royal Omani Police and discussed on ways and means to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka Embassy in Muscat and the Directorate General of Passports and Residency of Oman.

Ambassador Ameer Ajwad and DG, Al Nabhani also discussed on measures that are to be taken to address the issue of undocumented migrant workers and both sides agreed to work closely in this respect.

Directorate General of Passports and Residency of Oman provides services related to issuance of passports, identity cards, visas, residence permits and also provides its services at airports, sea ports and border posts.

Third Secretary of the Mission Dilini Abeysekara accompanied the Ambassador during the Meeting.
