Mr. Sergey Kapinos, Regional Representative for South Asia of the United Nations Organisation on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), presented credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Mangala Samaraweera at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 7th April 2017.

Mr. Kapinos assumed the post of the Representative - UNODC Regional Office for South Asia in November 2016. Prior to his appointment he was Ambassador, Head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Centre in Kyrgyzstan.
