University of Budi Luhur Undergraduates visit the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta

Thirty undergraduates from the University of Budi Luhur (UBL), accompanied by three lecturers and the Head of the International Business Management Department undertook an educational visit to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta on 07 March 2024.

During the interaction with the students, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia and ASEAN Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage delivered a presentation on the "Global Economic Outlook: Case Study on Sri Lanka and Indonesia". Second Secretary (Commercial) of the Embassy Heshani Kaushalya also made a presentation on tourist destinations in Sri Lanka.

This visit holds particular significance as the Budi Luhur University, a prominent A-grade private University in Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the NSBM University of Sri Lanka last year which was facilitated by the Embassy.

The visit highlighted the commitment of the Embassy to foster educational collaboration and cultural understanding between Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
