The Consul General of Sri Lanka in Toronto Thushara Rodrigo attended the community musical concert ‘Sathsara Rawaya- 2024” organized by the Sinhalese Association of Canada, held in Toronto recently. The concert was a day- and- night event, which attracted more than 2000 Sri Lankans living in Toronto.
In his address to the gathering, the Consul General remarked that the concert has provided a unique platform for Sri Lankan youth in Toronto to showcase their artistic talents and entertain the Sri Lankan community.
The event also presented a variety of Sri Lankan cuisine and commodities made in Sri Lanka for purchase. The event provided the opportunity for Sri Lankan newcomers to Canada to connect with the resilient Sri Lankan community in Toronto.
